Greetings Everyone,
Thank you for visiting CakesByTerra.com. It is my pleasure to be able to share my creations with all of you. Although I am a native of New Jersey I have been in North Carolina for quite a few years. I have managed to hold on to my northern accent; however, every now and then if you listen really carefully a little bit of the southern girl at heart comes out. I am so excited to be able to share my creations with you. I take considerable pride in my work and I hope it shows. I have been designing cakes and baking mouth-watering desserts for several years now and it amazes me that every year a new style or technique is developed. It certainly is enough to keep myself and my fellow cake designers on our toes.
I am not sure how this happened but we seem to have adopted a “no guts, no glory” type of attitude in the kitchen; we’ll pretty much try anything. I have not decided if that make us brave or insane [I’ll keep you posted on that J]. I am often asked what inspires me; my answer is always “everything around me”. My team and I see cake in everything, we are constantly challenging ourselves to do more, to do it better, make it bigger. My customers have come to expect that from us and we do our best to never disappoint.

We are located in Raleigh, NC and serve the triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) and its surrounding areas and parts of Eastern North Carolina (Wilson, Nashville, Rocky Mount). We will deliver to just about anywhere (see the FAQs page for more information). Certain items can be shipped anywhere in the United States.

In 2010 we announced our wholesale dessert line. We can create something that is unique to your restaurant, café, diner [just between you & me, my favorite is our exotic cupcakes – banana cream, chocolate amaretto, pineapple coconut, mango passion fruit, key lime, mint julep & strawberry daiquiri] or we can supply your establishment with tried and true staples that never go out of style (brownies, chocolate chip cookies, pound cake, scones, muffins & a whole lot more).
